Hi all,
As you may be aware there is a new round of rail strikes announced today - with one planned for Wednesday 31 May.
In light of this your exam time has been moved to the afternoon of the scheduled timetabled date (01/06/23) so will now take pace at 14:00 hrs - please arrive for 13:30 hrs to complete admin checks.
The Middlefield centre will be open from 10 am on that day so candidates can arrive early if they wish to do some final study.
Once again, apiologies for any inconvenience caused,
Kind regards,
Darren
Has there been any discussion with the RSPH regarding the problems that all candidates are facing? Seems to be becoming unfair with the constant changes and lack of consistency
Afternoon Darren,
Thank you for the update. I'm not entirely sure how many I speak for when I say how frustrating this is. I understand its not the fault of the RSPH or yourselves however I want to make you aware that this change will result theoretically in me being unable to sit the exam. I have to travel the day prior in order to get to the centre at North Tees, as a train on the day of the exam will not get me to Thornaby in time for the exam. This places a huge amount of stress on myself and those in a similar situation all whilst trying to complete assignments, revise and work on portfolios alongside a full time job. The added pressure on having to travel a round 700 miles to sit an exam for an hour is really not helping the situation. I honestly do not know a way around this.
Please, are you able to liaise with RSPH? As if this keeps happening for every exam I don't know how much more I can take!
Thanks,
Emma
Hi Darren, thanks for the update. Will there still be the cpd session thing after the exam or will that be cancelled?
