Good afternoon and may I take this opportunity to give you an update about your level 3 training that is soon to commence with us.
First of all a key date:
28/01/22 - this will be your first online session with us - I will add the timetable for you to download at the beginning of January 2022 (the timetable will be available in your cohorts password protected area under 'centre visit 1' link):
Please note that your cohorts password has been sent with your course joining instructions.
Also ensure you have IT access (e.g. mobile device or laptop) for this online training that will run from 10am to approx. 5pm on the first day. You do not need a camera to access our zoom meetings (just headphones /speaker so that you can hear me). All your other full day training sessions will also start at 10 am.
The zoom meeting room ID can also be found in your cohorts password protected area - this zoom meeting ID number will not change. When starting zoom please click the 'Join a meeting' and then enter your cohorts 10 digit unique number starting with 704 xxx xxxx.
Your first online session will also contain information about how to use the online learning material and web site navigation, so please do not worry if you are still unsure about what to do and what is expected - I will explain everything on your first session with me.
Please contact me if you have not received your joining instructions (and password) by the middle on January 2022.
I look forward to meeting you all on January 2022.
Kind regards,
Darren
Good morning Darren! Zoom is asking me for a password to enter the meeting - I've tried the cohort password and its not working. Have I missed the password to enter the class today?
Thank you Darren, look forward to seeing you tomorrow.
Hi, I have not received my 10 digit logon number to access the zoom meetings :(
Hi - could you please contact Jade on the email below asking for your joining instructions to be sent again. The joining instructions are mainly to let you know you have been loaded onto on the course, how to access the web site and your cohort password. It might be worth registering a home email address for this forum as with some trusts alerts go straight to junk! jade.murray@nhs.net Many thanks, Darren
My units are all still locked in the portal🔒 please help
Just seen this as I didn't get alerted *even though my alerts are on* I hacent received any emails regarding joining instructions!!
Just another update:
The timetable for session one is available in your cohort’s password protected area.
You will also noticed that units 3.3 (H&S) and 3.4 (microbiology) are now available for you to check out.
Please have a look over the learning outcomes needed for each of these units but do not worry about assignments and exams at this moment – I will go through these during your training with us.
Darren
