Hi all, Please see comment below from Christian Burt at the AAPT: New AAPT membership year commences 1st April 2025 Thank you to all those who have sent AAPT student membership applications forms.  The AAPT membership year starts 1st April 2025 and in March we test and run a subscription renewals process, this should be completed by mid-March. The AAPT will then begin to add new student members and also mark those existing 'year 2' members as paid by North Tees. Hi Kristy- the exam should be completed by around 3 pm - you can leave immediately after this so that should give you time to book (or pre-order) a taxi to the train station. They usually pick you up outside the main hospital entrance, so catching the train at 5pm is plenty of time.

Hi Reece - the meeting for tomorrow is a revision session for cohort 11 candidates only (who started their course with us in 2024). The first meeting for cohort 12 candidates (starting this year) is on the 31st Jan. I will ‘see’ you at 10 am on the 31st Jan via zoom. You should already have been sent the password. Hi, apart from the CAS form for indexing your evidence work, you will need to use the 3 different template types for your evidence wok for each unit: * 3 x reflections * 3 x witness statements * 4 x other work based objective The only other mandatory form is the 'RSPH candidate evidence portfolio front sheet' - this is a declaration form to say the portfolio is your own work - a blank copy of this is in everyone's e-portfolio. The following are not mandatory but may be included: * Signature sheet template - only use if a specific staff member has been named in your portfolio for some reason (other than evidence signatures). * Mentor progress review meeting template - again only if used and completed. The CPD log is not required for EPA but may be asked for if you apply for professional registration with the science council after the course (needed to get onto the level 4 diploma). That's all! P.S Remember to ask for access to your e-portfolio if you are going to apply for the EPA in February - you should only apply for EPA (via 'Links' on the training website) after you have uploaded all your evidence pieces.

Please note: You are only eligible for EPA once all exams and assignments have been passed!

Hi Zoe - there are no in year resits for the H&S exam - so you will sit it with next year's candidates (on 27/03/25) - you will automatically be enrolled for this so you must tell us if you cannot attend or if your previous choice of venue needs to be changed. Darren

Hi again - it’s pushing the boundary as they should be qualified (and also fully competent in the department). If there is really no one else who can complete your witness statements then I suggest they date and sign your evidence work only after they qualify. Kind regards, Darren
